Felipe Yung is an artist who became known in the streets as "Flip" where, for more than 20 years, he has left his mark and colors wherever he goes.
Nature, vegetation, eroticism, urban calligraphy (tags and pixação), monsters, camouflage and a fascination for Japanese culture, especially its calligraphy (shodo) and prints (ukiyo-e) are notable elements in FLIP`s work, and these combinations of influences lead him to being a well recognized in Brazil and internationally.
FLIP has participated in various major events such as the first Graffiti Biennale (São Paulo, 2010), at the Tour Paris 13 (Galerie Itinerrance, Paris, 2013), Seiva Bruta (Carmichael Gallery of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, 2009), TRANSFER (São Paulo, 2009), Ginzatropicália (Miami Art Basel, 2008). Leaving his mark around the world, a special mention to his individual exhibitions HENTAI, on MubE, Brazilian Museum of Sculpture and Ecology (2012, São Paulo, SP), and HANAMEISAI, in Calmaart Gallery (2014, Osaka, Japan).
